Indian cricketers who traveled around the world were stunned by the world’s largest cricket stadium in Motera and it took them an hour to understand the facilities here. England all-rounder Ben Stokes was also surprised to see the stadium. The dressing rooms of the stadium are connected to the gym. The first international match at Motera Stadium with a capacity of one million and 10,000 spectators will be a day-night Test between India and England starting on 24 February.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya said in a video put out by the BCCI, “To be honest, there is a great wait to play among the spectators at the world’s largest stadium. Will there be a great scene?” He said, ‘All the players liked it very much. It took us an hour to understand this. I am proud to have this stadium in India. There will be great matches here.
Pandya said, ‘I have not seen a stadium whose dressing room is connected to the gym. I want to thank the people who have built this stadium and the GCA. Cheteshwar Pujara said, ‘It is a very big stadium and it looks great coming into it. We are waiting to play the first match here.
Opener Mayank Agarwal said, ‘It was great to go inside Motera and see the stands. We have never played in such a big field. We have never seen a gym like this.
