new Delhi: On Tuesday night, the Mumbai Police raided the Dragonfly Club, hosting a party late at night. Seven employees and 27 customers were allegedly booked by the police, including some high-profile names like cricketer Suresh Raina, Susan Khan and singer Guru Randhawa. Rapper Badshah was also present at the party but did not make the booking as he allegedly managed to escape a backdoor.

Earlier today, both Suresh Raina and Guru Randhawa issued statements through their management stating that they were not aware of the local time and protocol in the city.
Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Suzanne Khan recently took to her Instagram and shared a post clarifying what had happened during the night of the raid. He shared a lengthy note, which wrote, “A polite clarification: last night I was at a close friend’s birthday dinner and some of us entered the DragonFly Club in JW Marriott, Sahr. At 2.30, the Officers Club. Entered. While the club management and officials were sorting things out, all the guests present were asked to wait for a period of three hours. He added, “I fail to understand why we were kept waiting or what was the problem with the officials and the club. I am setting the record straight with this statement. Sources in Mumbai Police said that on the instruction of DCP Jain, a raid was conducted at the Dragonfly Club at JW Marriott. Police said that the current functional time frame for the pub in Mumbai was set by the civic body by 11.30 am, while the Dragonfly Club was functioning till 4 am.
However, the party’s organizer is yet to be confirmed.
