Mussoorie: Congress leader Jot Singh Bisht said

Mussoorie, ABP Ganga.

In Mussoorie, Congress state vice-president Jot Singh Bisht attacked the Trivendra Rawat government of the state fiercely. He said that there is a conspiracy to completely ruin the Panchayat Raj system. The budget of the district plan has been cut by more than 50 percent. He alleged that there is a huge breakup in the amount of money received by the state panchayats under the guise of zero tolerance on corruption.

Jot Singh said that the government has appointed its favorite people as contractors in each district to supply materials for the MNREGA scheme. He claimed that the district heads are being forced to buy the same from these contractors at arbitrary prices.

Failed to stop corona infection

The Congress leader said that the Uttarakhand government has proved to be a complete failure in preventing the infection of Corona in the state like the central government. The number of corona infections in the country has reached close to one lakh daily. Jot Singh said that the average daily corona infection in Uttarakhand has now crossed one thousand. In districts that have been divided into control centers, the clutter is dominated. He alleged that a huge scam is being done in the government patronage in the funds released for the control of Covid.

Scope on employment issue

These days the Congress leader has also surrounded the government on the issue of employment which has caused the anger of the youth in the country. He said that the Trivendra government, indulging in corruption and scams, has proved to be a failure in providing employment to the unemployed in the state. The Congress leader said that Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana has been launched to connect unemployed migrants with self-employment. But due to its complicated process and lack of access to information, the migrants have not been able to get any benefit from it at all. The state government neither increased the budget of self-employment schemes from its level nor demanded any package from the central government.
