Investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has initiated a massive crackdown against the use of banned drugs in Bollywood.
The ongoing investigation on Tuesday took a sensational turn when Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s name surfaced in a drug chat.
NCB sources said that some of these chats were between Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash and a ‘D’.
According to reports, in a conversation between Deepika and her manager, the actress allegedly asked her manager to bring a “hash” to a posh club where she was having a party.
This exchange of messages between the two took place on WhatsApp in October 2017.
And now if a report published in TOI is to be believed, the investigating agency is expected to examine the footage from the party as Deepika’s party is now under NCB scanner.
Meanwhile, Deepika gets in touch with her legal team in Delhi. He is currently in Goa to shoot for his upcoming film and is expected to leave Goa soon.
On the other hand, a PTI report said that Deepika’s manager Karishma, who was summoned by the NCB, could not appear before the agency on Tuesday due to illness. He is exempted from appearing before the anti-drug agency until Friday.
