OnePlus Nord, the third smartphone of 2020 has recently been launched by tech company OnePlus. This is the company's first affordable smartphone launched this year. Now it has come to light that the brand has started preparing to launch the new flagship models of the year. On the lines of last year, they can be named OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8T Pro. One of these phones can get a 64 megapixel camera, such leaks have come out.

Chinese smartphone company OnePlus 7 series and since then is offering 48 megapixel primary camera sensor in its devices. Now finally OnePlus can switch to the new sensor. The new details have come from XDA's senior member Some_Random_Username. With the new OnePlus Camera v5.4.23, it has been learned that a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor can be given in the next phone.

Hint with new camera app

The OnePlus camera app recently received a v5.4.23 update. After teardown of this app, XDA member found that it has a mention of 64 megapixels. It is clear that 64 megapixel camera sensor can be given in the next smartphones of OnePlus. Currently, no OnePlus smartphone offers a 64-megapixel camera sensor in its setup. It may also happen that OnePlus brings some other affordable device with this sensor.

The string found in the new camera app has revealed that the app will be given a dedicated 64 megapixel mode and the burst capture feature will not work in this mode. By default, photos clicked with the help of this 64 megapixel sensor will be captured at 16 megapixels. However, no details related to OnePlus 8T or OnePlus 8T Pro have been revealed and it cannot be confirmed that these will be given 64MP camera sensor.
