Pakistan cricket team upset due to injuries, now Imam ul Haq also out of tour

Pakistan opener Imam-ul-Haq has been ruled out of the second Test match against New Zealand due to a thumb injury. Giving this information, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that he will return home on Sunday and stay at the High Performance Center in Lahore for rehab.

The imam suffered this injury during a practice session in Queenstown. Pakistan’s team on New Zealand tour is upset due to injuries to players. Captain Babar Azam could not play in the first Test starting on Saturday after the T20 International series due to injury, while all-rounder Shadab Khan will not be able to play in the home series against South Africa next month.

The board said that Babur has started practice but a decision on his participation in the second Test of the series starting on January 3 will be decided on January 2.
