Earlier, Payal Ghosh tweeted, “I am not apologizing to anyone. I have not done any injustice nor have I made a wrong statement about anyone. I said what @anuragkashyap told me in ‘#SorryNotSorry’.
Payal made headlines last month when he accused Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of alleged sexual harassment and accused him of rape, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement and insulting the woman.
While Kashyap denied the allegations, Payal wrote a letter to President Ramnath Kovind the other day requesting his intervention in the sexual harassment case against the filmmaker. In the letter, she alleged that the investigation lacked progress as the accused is a highly influential person.
