Rahul Roy health update: actor recovering from brain stroke, ‘will be back soon’

new Delhi: ‘Aashiqui’ actor Rahul Roy, who suffered a brain injury while shooting for his upcoming film in Kargil, has reportedly recovered. The actor recently shared his health update with all his fans and said that he would ‘come back soon’.

Rahul Roy took to his Instagram and shared a video, where he can be seen smiling on camera as his sister spoke on his behalf. He reassured everyone about his recovery through this post. Sharing the post, he wrote, “I am recovering and thanks to all my friends, family and fans who are like my family for giving me so much love and prayers. will be back soon. Love you all – Rahul Roy

Rahul also shared another collage picture and wrote, “Family love. to regain. A picture from the hospital will be back soon. Rahul Roy’s love to all of you

Rahul was shocked when he was shooting for his upcoming film LAC – Live the Battle in Kargil. The actor was airlifted from Kargil and taken to Srinagar and then brought back to Mumbai.

The exact cause of the stroke cannot be ascertained but appears to have been found during the shooting at high altitudes where the temperature was -15 degrees and he initially felt a bit lost and confused, after which he was unable to form sentences. Tha (condition called Aphasia).

Rahul Roy participated in the first season of the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. He defeated Ravi Kishan and Carole Gracie to lift the winner’s trophy. The ‘Dilwale Kabhi Na Hare’ actor joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2017.
