Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vi tariffs cheapest in the world

Talking about the cheapest tariff plan in the world, Indian telecom operators are at the forefront in this matter. A report by Rewheel Research reported that Indian telecom companies provided the ‘cheapest monthly plan’ for a 4G smartphone. These plans provide at least 1000 voice minutes, 10 GB data and 10Mbps speed.

This report has been released by a telecom research company in Finland. It compares 4G and 5G monthly telecom prices of 168 telecom operators in 48 countries by the end of September 2020. Revel Research stated that Finland’s telecom operator Alyssa Finland provided the ‘most aggressive’ plans in the second half of 2020. The firm said that Canada was the country to provide telecom prices at the ‘lowest aggressive price’ during this period.

The firm highlighted that Jio provided 100 minutes, 1 GB data and 1Mbps speed in the cheapest monthly plan. After this comes the number of Vodafone India and Bharti Airtel. Telus Canada became the operator to provide the ‘most expensive monthly plan’ for smartphones. Reveal Research reported that the smartphone plan offered by Telus is about 16 times more expensive than the plan offered by Reliance Jio.

The largest wireless operator in India also offered at least 100 GB data and 50Mbps speed in the ‘Cheapest Monthly Plan’ for smartphones.
