Neetu Singh and Ranbir Kapoor Organised A pooja on the occasion of Rishi Kapoor’s first death anniversary on Friday 30 April. The mother-son duo did not invite other Kapoor family members for worship as a precautionary measure against COVID-19. Ranbir’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt also attended the virtual puja ceremony, which was held in the memory of Rishi at Neetu’s house in Mumbai. The two lovebirds arrived together to perform the ritual on Friday afternoon.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, other Kapoor family members joined Pooja due to the COVID-19 crisis. Neetu conducted an online puja and did not invite others for the memorial ceremony keeping in mind the rise in coronavirus cases in the country.
Earlier in the day, the actresses of ‘Occasionally’ shared an exhausting picture with an emotional picture with Rishi. She said that her husband will always be in people’s hearts. “We have accepted that life will never happen without him !!! But life will move forward,” Singh wrote.
On April 30, 2020, Rishi left his late residence after a two-year-long battle with leukemia. Her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni could not attend her funeral due to COVID-19 lockdown. Sahni reached Mumbai from Delhi by road to support his mother during difficult times.
