Sachin Tendulkar, one of the world’s greatest batsmen, has bluntly responded to all celebrities, including pop star Rihanna, who are trying to interfere in India’s internal affairs. Sachin Tendulkar wrote on social media on Wednesday that there will be no compromise with Indian sovereignty and foreign forces should stay away from it.

To this, Sachin Tendulkar, famous from ‘God of Cricket’ tweeted, ‘Can not compromise with the sovereignty of India. Foreign forces can only see but cannot participate. Indians know India and Indians should take the decision for India. Let us stand united as a nation.
India has also reacted strongly after several foreign celebrities tweeted on the matter. The Ministry of External Affairs has advised people to refrain from making statements in haste without fact-checking.

International pop singer Rihanna shared a news report referring to the Center’s action against farmers by shutting down internet services in many areas. At the same time, Thenberg also tweeted, ‘We are united in the farmers’ movement in India’. He also tagged a CNN news report titled ‘India shut down Internet service around New Delhi amid clashes between protesting farmers and police’.
Harris’s niece Meena Harris said, “It is no coincidence that it has not been a month since the world’s oldest democracy was attacked and the largest democracy is under attack at the time we are talking.”
Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs said that facts should be scrutinized before making hasty remarks about the demonstration and the urge for hashtags and sensational comments on social media is neither correct nor responsible. The ministry has said that some vested selfish groups are trying to impose their agenda on the demonstrations and there are some objections to the very small section of farmers in some parts of the country about the agrarian reforms passed after full discussion in Parliament.
