Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan said that a remark by former England captain Geoffrey Boycott had angered his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the former captain of the Indian cricket team. The cricketer, known as Tiger Pataudi among his fans, played 46 Test matches for India, captaining 40 of them.
Saif told SportsKeeda, “I used to consider boycott a lot. He made me very angry one day. He told me, I have heard about your father, it is not possible to play Test cricket with one eye. '

The 49-year-old Bollywood actor said, “I asked him if you think my father is lying, then he said – yes I think he is making a story.” Saif told his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi Somewhere and he became very angry.
Saif told that his father then told him that he used to play with two eyes, then he played very well and with one eye. Nawab Pataudi scored 2793 runs in 46 Tests for India with the help of 6 centuries and 16 half-centuries. His unbeaten 203 was his best score. In first class cricket, he played 310 matches and scored 15425 runs. This includes 33 centuries and 75 half-centuries.
Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi is counted among the great cricket captains of India. He took the captaincy at the age of 21. He was injured in a car accident and his midwife suffered an eye injury that caused him to stop appearing. Under his captaincy, he managed to win nine Test matches.
Saif said, “If he did not want to tour, he would say that he is not available.” He used to say that this is the game and he was getting interested in sports in the 60s because he felt that too much cricket was being played.
