Mumbai: Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human Foundation’ is arranging daily breakfast for Mumbai frontline workers which has included police, medical staff and BMC staff for the last one week. ABP News bought a few days ago in light of the fact that Salman’s foundations ‘Being Human’ and ‘I Love Mumbai’ have joined hands to serve in a food truck named ‘Havanagi’ in the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. They are moving to different parts of the city and serving food to frontline warriors.
Before today, Salman Khan was present at the time of service. He looked at various arrangements and tasted the food himself. The food that is being served to the frontline workers is prepared every day in a restaurant called ‘Bhaijaan’, which is located in Bandra West. The ‘Dabangg’ actor wanted to check the quality of the food. Salman arrived at the restaurant by car from his ‘Galaxy Apartment’ and watched the preparations.
Rahul Kanan, who is associated with ‘Being Human’ and ‘I Love Mumbai’, told ABP News, ‘Salman Khan interacted with everyone who prepared breakfast for the frontline workers. Today, pav-bhaji was prepared for 5000 frontline workers over breakfast. After Salman Khan tasted the bhaji, he told the people who prepared it that it was good in taste. “
Salman Khan on behalf of The Being Human Foundation distributed food grains to about 2 lakh needy people during the lockout last year. Not only this, but Salman also gave financial assistance of Rs 3000 to more than 25,000 daily workers, technicians and junior artists accordingly.
