Samsung has rolled out the One UI 3.1 update based on Android 11 for its Samsung Smartphone Galaxy A42 5G. In the update, the company is offering a one-time permission, improved stock app, chat bubble and a dedicated media player widget in the Quick Settings panel, along with a new user interface. The update is also rolling out a security patch of March 2021 for the device.

The version number of this update released for Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is A426BXXU1BUB7. The company is currently rolling out this update only in the Netherlands. It is believed that Samsung will rollout this over the air update for the users of other countries as well. Whether the update has been reached on the device can be checked by going to the phone’s settings.
