Six Pakistan cricketers eligible to join the team in England will leave for Manchester on Friday after being found negative in two tests of the Corona virus. Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hasanen, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan and Wahab Riaz, who were found positive before the team's departure last week, have come up negative in the latest test which was conducted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The PCB said in a statement on its website on Wednesday, “The second group of six Pakistani cricketers will leave for Manchester on Friday 3 July in a national carrier.” The players who will travel from Pakistan International Airlines include Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hasanen, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan and Wahab Riaz.

The PCB said all six of these players from Manchester will be taken to Worcester and will be clubbed with the rest of the team after being found negative in the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) test schedule. Out of all these players, there was a dispute about Hafeez when he was tested in a private laboratory the next day after being infected by a PCB test and was found to be negative. Spinner Kashif Bhatti, fast bowlers Haris Rauf and Imran Khan and batsman Hyderabad Ali are still in isolation.

A total of 10 players from Pakistan were found to be Corona virus positive before leaving for England on Saturday. Pakistan will play three Tests and an equal number of T20 matches against England in August. The PCB has approved senior batsman Shoaib Malik to spend time with his family in the UAE and join the team in late July.
