The Congress has made preparations to bring politician Shatrughan Sinha’s son Love Sinha into politics by giving him a ticket from Bankipur seat in Patna.
He is pitted against BJP’s three-time MLA Nitin Naveen. Bankipur assembly seat falls under Patna Sahib constituency which Shatrughan Sinha was elected twice in 2009 and 2014 when he was in BJP.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha on Saturday wished her brother Luv Sinha his budding political career.
Sonakshi shared Instagram photos showing Love with her mother Poonam Sinha and Congress party workers.
“Proud to my elder brother @luvsinha who filed his nomination for #Bharelections yesterday! We really need young people and more importantly good people to step up for our country and be very happy on this new journey. Introduce !, “she wrote as a caption.
On a related note, Sonakshi made her comeback to the screen in the Ajay Devgn-starrer film ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’. The film tells the story of Vijay Karnik, an Indian Air Force pilot.
The period drama looks at the story of 300 women from Madhapar village in Gujarat’s Kutch district, who were instrumental in helping India win the Indo-Pak war of 1971. The women came together to rebuild and repair the only runway at Bhuj, which was important for the war.
