new Delhi: SP Balasubrahmanyam breathed his last on 25 September after suffering from cardio-respiratory arrest. The veteran singer was transferred to MGM Healthcare’s intensive care unit in Chennai on 5 August, as he tested positive for COVID-19. Although on 8 September, the singer tested negative for the novel disease, it continued to be placed under ICU and ventilator supervision. Recently, the news of the singer being ‘very serious’ came to light and on Friday at 1:04 pm, the ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ singer left for his heavenly abode.
However, before testing positive for COVID-19, the veteran singer recorded 40,000 songs in 16 languages and sang and sang a Tamil song to create awareness about the novel coronavirus. The lyrics of the song written by famous lyricist Vairamuthu are working with the belief that humanity will win the epidemic.
SP Balasubramaniam said months ago, “I composed this number. Let us hear it… It is not very musical, it is more lyrical. ”
The late singer urged her fans to pay attention to the depth and import of the words and help prevent the virus in her video of over 3 minutes. The song titled ‘Corona Corona’ highlights the fact that although this virus is smaller than an atom in size, it is deadly like an atomic bomb that secretly infects people.
S.P. Balasubrahmanyam’s presentation in the song talks about the importance of physical contact and other aspects without hygiene, with the aim of avoiding the spread of COVID-19.
Like his song conveying that mankind will eventually conquer the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘Paidum Nila’ was also confident that he would beat the virus when he tested positive for it. He eventually defeated the virus on 8 September but was caught by cardio-respiration yesterday.
