Lucknow: Seeing the increasing infection of Corona in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed the Drug Controller to ensure that all essential medicines are available in adequate quantity in hospitals and medical institutions in view of Covid-19. CM said that arrangements for backup of these medicines will also be made. He said that hoarding of drugs was not found anywhere else, if it is so, strict action should be taken against the culprits.
Lack of oxygen
CM Yogi was reviewing the new system in a high level meeting at Lok Bhavan on Monday. He said that the oxygen plant set up in the state should supply it to all medical colleges in the state at the prescribed rate. Its rate should remain the same as it was before the split-19. He directed to take strict action on the complaint of oxygen blackmary. CM said that it has been ensured that there is no dearth of oxygen in hospitals, medical colleges and medical institutions.
Medical colleges should work at full capacity
According to a government statement, the Chief Minister has directed that all medical colleges and hospitals in Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Meerut should function with full quality and capacity. He said that the Drug Controller maintains a smooth system of medicines and oxygen in these districts. Daily information will be made available to the Chief Minister’s Office regarding availability and supply of medicines and oxygen in the state on behalf of the Drug Controller.
Have constant awareness The campaign
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed to conduct continuous training programs to ensure adequate availability of doctors and paramedics in Covid hospitals. CM also talked about the continuous awareness campaign regarding reservation and security from Covid-19.
