Bollywood star Sunil Shetty has filed a complaint against a production house for airing a fake film poster, which PTI has said. The ‘Dhadak’ star filed a complaint at Versova police station in Mumbai on Wednesday (3 March). He accused the production company of using his photograph without seeking permission. Shetty also alleged that the company lied about him while playing the lead role in the film.
A police officer told the news agency that Sunil Shetty alleged that the makers shared fake posters of a film with which the actor is not associated. Police officials are yet to file an FIR in the case.

In Rakshak ‘the actor said in his complaint that the production company asked people for money in his name. He came to know about the fake film poster after it aired on social media.
The 59-year-old actor, who was last seen in the Rajinikanth-starrer film ‘Darbar’, took to Twitter to express his displeasure over the act of the production company. He slammed the company for ‘exploiting young weak talents’.
Shetty tweeted, “This is more about exploiting young weak talent than using my picture and financial exploitation.”
Police officers are currently investigating the case. The news agency report said that they did not call anyone to record the statement.

Sunil Shetty’s son Ahaan Shetty will make his Bollywood debut with ‘Tadap’ alongside Tara Sutaria. The romantic action drama is a remake of the Telugu film ‘RX 100’.
