An official here on Sunday said that the NCB, Mumbai zone has arrested at least six people in connection with the ongoing investigation into the drugs case in the case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
In an ongoing raid from Mumbai to Goa, NCB teams led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede have arrested one Karamjit Singh Anand (23).
Restricted substances like ganja and charas have been recovered from him.
A hemp supplier, Diwon Anthony Fernandes, along with two others, was arrested from Dadar (West), Mumbai. The NCB has recovered half a kilo of cannabis from them.
Also, a marksman Arranza (29) was caught from Powai in a city slum in the last few days.
Arneja is described as the receiver of the contract from Karamjit and has also supplied it to another accused Anuj Keshwani, earlier arrested in the same case.
The NCB has recovered 42 grams of charas and Rs 1,12,400 in cash from Arnaja.
NCB Deputy Director KPS Malhotra said that NCB, Goa Sub Zone has arrested Chris Costa in the same case and further investigation is on.
The NCB has also refuted speculation in some sections of the media that many prominent Bollywood celebrities are on its radar or are being investigated.
