“By filing a PIL in the Supreme Court, the CBI has been instructed to submit a status report in the case of the death of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput,” an ANI report said.

The petition has been moved to the apex court by advocate Vineet Dhanda, who has urged the court to direct the agency to complete the investigation in 2 months and present a report.

According to an IANS report, the plea stated that “the apex court expressed serious confidence in the country’s premier investigative agency and directed an inquiry into the unnatural death of the late actor, as his death has spread to the entire country and even Shocked fans abroad.
