According to a PTI report, a portion of the road in Andrews Ganj in south Delhi will be named after SSR as the civic body in the area has approved the proposal.
Congress councilor of SDMC Abhishek Dutt shared the proposal with the naming and renaming of the civic body’s road committee in September 2020. “This was cleared by SDMC House in yesterday’s meeting,” an official was quoted as saying by RTI.
Abhishek Dutt sent a written proposal to the committee in which he mentioned that there are many people living in the area living on Road No 8 from the state of Bihar. He claimed to have sought to name it as Sushant Singh Rajput route from Andrews Ganj in South Delhi to Indira Camp in his memory.
