Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti returns to social media, explaining why she disabled her Twitter and Instagram handle

Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has been actively seeking justice for her brother. His Instagram and Twitter accounts suddenly went missing on Wednesday, leaving fans worried. Shweta has made a comeback on social media within hours of activating her profile. She also revealed that she had deactivated her social media accounts as several attempts were made to log into her account.

“Sorry, many were being logged on my social media accounts, so they had to be deactivated,” Shweta tweeted. After logging in, fans have filled their Twitter and Instagram handles with their messages.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment on 14 June. Three central agencies including CBI, ED and NCB are currently investigating the case of his death.

‘Dil Bechar’ is a four-month death anniversary of the actor on 14 October. Shweta shared a fake video on her Instagram handle and described her brother as a ‘true inspiration’ in the caption. The ‘Rabta’ actor can be seen doing training, running, cycling and other activities in the clip. Check it out!

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is yet to find any massive misuse of funds from Sushant’s bank account. On July 31, 2020, the agency investigating the money laundering angle in the case had registered a case against Riya Chakraborty under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

Riya Chakraborty, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in the drugs case related to Sushant’s death, was granted bail on 7 October. She moved out of Byculla jail after being in custody for 28 days. The Bombay High Court had rejected the bail pleas of Riya’s brother Shovik Chakraborty and drug peddler Abdul Basit Parihar.
