Kerala opener Mohammed Azharuddeen’s stunning batting has surprised everyone. The batsman completed his century against Mumbai on only 37 balls. The way he was batting, it seemed that the records of big players would be broken today.

Second fastest century
Mohammad Azharuddin’s century is the second fastest century in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Earlier, Rishabh Pant had scored a century in 32 balls in the year 2018. He has scored the fastest century among Indians after Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant. Mohammad Azharuddin’s innings also sparked debate on social media.

Mohammad Azharuddin completed his century with the help of eight fours and as many sixes. He played only four dot balls while reaching his century. He returned with an unbeaten 137 off 54 balls with the help of nine fours and 11 sixes. He is the first batsman to score a century in T20 cricket for Kerala. Earlier in 2013, Rohan Prem’s unbeaten 92 runs was the highest score for Kerala.

Achieved huge
Mohammad Azharuddin’s quick century helped Kerala reach their target of 197 runs in Mumbai in the 16th over. Mohammad Azharuddin hit a six and gave the team a big win by eight wickets. Earlier, Mumbai had scored 196 runs for seven wickets.
