Ajay Devgn’s latest film ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, one of Bollywood’s finest actors, has shown at the box office how patriotic it is. The film was released on 10 January and collected a collection of Rs 14.50 crore on its first day i.e. Opening Day.
According to the report by boxofficeindia.com, the film has a strong opening and the film has grossed around 15 crores on the first day. However, it was expected that the film would do more good business and it was being said that it would earn 16 crores. The film did not perform very well in the North and East. It is being told that 50% of this figure is from Mumbai only. It is expected that the film will get the benefit of Holiday on Saturday and Sunday.

This film is Ajay Devgan’s 100th film in Bollywood and hence it is said to be a very special film of his career. Recently, just before the film’s release, Ajay first showed his film to the school children, whose pictures he also shared on social media.
Tanhaji’ is such a historical film, which is able to portray the valor of the Maratha Empire in a grand style. This story has all the elements like Jambaji, Romance, Thrill, Betrayal, and 3D effects called gold icing on it which makes the entire film worth watching from beginning to end. The story is of that page of history, where Aurangzeb (Luke Kenny) is strategizing to wave Mughalia Parcham over the whole of India and the Deccan (South) Shivaji Maharaj (Sharad Kelkar) is determined to take the oath of self-rule. This war in history (4 February 1670) is recorded as the Battle of Sinhagad.
