‘Thalapathy 65’: actor Vijay joins hands with director Niels Dilipkumar


new Delhi: Popular South Indian actor Vijay has recently joined hands with director Nelson Dileepkumar for his upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 65’. Sun Pictures, earlier today, made an announcement that they would control ‘Thalapathi 65’. The film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.

Sun Pictures released a short teaser of the film, loaded with guns and bullets. Sharing the teaser, the production house wrote, “We are happy to announce Thelapathi @TorathithiBaiSunpictures directed by @Ilsondilpakumar and music by @anirududofficial #thalapathy65”

Director Nelson Kumar also shared a video on his Instagram and wrote, “# thalapathy65 happy to announce my next film #thalapathy vijay sir and @sunpictures @anirudhofficial @jagadvbliss # thalapathy65”

Nelson is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Doctor’, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan.

Actor Vijay, on the other hand, will appear in the upcoming Tamil action-thriller ‘Master’. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also stars actors Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, with Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah and Shantanu Bhagyaraj in supporting roles.

Vijay started his acting career at the age of 10 with the 1984 film Vetri. He then went on to act as a child artist in other films like ‘Kudumbam’, ‘Vasant Ragam’, ‘Sattam Oru Vilayattu’. He started playing lead roles at the age of 18 and his first film as a lead actor was the 1992 film ‘Nalaiya Therapu’. Since then, there is no stopping for the actor as he became a superstar. Till now, Vijay has acted as the lead actor in about 64 films. He is also fondly called ‘Thalapathy’ by his fans and his next project will be his 65Th The film which apparently makes sense for the film temporarily titled ‘Thalapathy 65’.
