Throwback Tuesday | When Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor remade the climax scene of ‘DDLJ’; See how an iconic movie can be molded into any storyline


new Delhi: One of Bollywood’s most popular pairs, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor hosted the 2016 IIFA Awards ceremony. The dynamic duo is known for their bromance and their on-screen chemistry. Well, when one talks about chemistry, it is hard not to bring up the names of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, the most iconic duo of Tinsel Town. The lead pair of ‘DDLJ’ has managed to love not only the Indian audience but also the audiences abroad.

Here’s a look at one of the most entertaining nights, where the actors of ‘Gunday’ applied the climax scene of ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ and recreated it in 4 different hilarious styles. Ranveer and Arjun can be seen donning the characters ‘Simran’ and ji Babuji ‘respectively, where the former can be seen dressed in a lehenga and the latter in DD DDLJ’ white like Amrish Puri’s character Can be seen wearing a dress.

‘Any prince can be a Jackson’ – Prabhu Deva Style

In this act, both Ranveer and Arjun can be seen dancing their dialogues in a rhythm. He recreated the iconic scene in the most cheerful and entertaining manner and made the audience laugh.

‘DDLJ’ in the style of ‘Karan Johar’

How good were the actors of ‘Befikre’ in this re-act of Karan Johar’s ‘DDLJ’. She is perfectly fit to be a religion heroine where Simran was portrayed as a spoiled rich brat and a dirty rich father to the ‘2 States’ actor. No one can stop laughing at this avatar of Ranveer-Arjun.

‘Race Dilwale Ki’ in Abbas Mastan Style

Whenever Abbas Mastan’s name comes on screen, one can always expect more and more twists in the plot. Well, this act also did the same in which no one understood who the real secret is. The part where the train transforms into a bus is unmatched.

‘Gangs of Dilawapur’ in Anurag Kashyap style

In the final enactment of ‘DDLJ’, Raj, Simran and Babuji can be seen portraying characters in the style of Anurag Kashyap where all the characters die. The act keeps Raj alive till the end, culminating with an iconic dialogue in the Bihari dialect from the SRK-Kajol starrer.
