Supernovas defeated the Trailblazers by two runs in the third match of the Women’s T20 Challenge on Saturday. Batting first, Supernovas scored 146 runs losing six wickets. The Trailblazers were able to score 144 for five after playing 20 overs. Both these teams will also face in the finals.
Captain Smriti Mandhana scored 33 off 40 balls for the Trailblazers. His innings included two fours and a six. Diandra Dotin smashed 27 runs off 15 balls with the help of four fours and a six. Deepti Sharma scored an unbeaten 43 off 40 balls with the help of five fours. Harleen Deol made 27 runs. Chamari Attapattu hit a 67-run knock for the Supernovas. He faced five fours and four sixes in 48 balls.

Attapattu added 89 runs for the first wicket with Priya Poonia (30) and a 29-run partnership for the second wicket with captain Harmanpreet Kaur (31). The team’s innings looked staggering since their dismissal, but Harmanpreet scored 31 off 29 balls to bring the team to a respectable score.
For the Trailblazers, Jhulan Goswami, Salma Khatoon, Harleen Deol, scored one each.
