Mumbai: Popular actor Mohan Joshi of Hindi and Marathi films has signed COVID-19 and is currently quarantined in a hotel in Goa. Mohan Joshi tested positive for COVID-19 after taking both doses of the Corona vaccine.
Due to the lockout in Mumbai, Mohan Joshi was shooting for his popular Marathi serial ‘Agbai Sunbai’ in Goa for the past several days. After testing positive for coronovirus, Manoj pacified himself at the same hotel where he was staying during the shooting.
The 68-year-old actor confirmed to ABP News over the phone that he had already taken both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Mohan Joshi said, “I took the first dose of Corona vaccine on March 6 while the second dose was taken on April 20.”
Mohan has worked in many Hindi films including ‘Baghban’, Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Baaghi’, ‘Zameen’, ‘Gangajal’, ‘Scorpion’, apart from working in Marathi films and serials.
Mohan Joshi informed ABP News that four other crew members of his serial ‘Agarbai Sanbai’ have also tested positive for the virus, including two lightmen, a man of the art department and a driver. He said that all of them live in a hotel in Goa for rent.
A few days ago, the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) banned shooting in Goa due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases.
