Former Pakistan cricket team player Sarfaraz Nawaz has accused his former partner and current Prime Minister of the country Imran Khan. He has said that Imran Khan used to consume drugs while playing for Pakistan. Significantly, Imran is counted among the all-time greatest all-rounders in the world.
Apart from his bowling and batting, Imran is also called a brilliant captain. It was under his captaincy that Pakistan won the 1992 Cricket World Cup. Imran took 362 Tests and 182 ODI international wickets in his career.
Former Pakistan bowler Sarfaraz Nawaz claimed that he saw Imran Khan in 1987 on his own using drugs. Nawaz said that he has seen Imran drinking charas. He alleged that Imran also consumed cocaine. Sarfaraz and Imran were prolific Pakistan fast bowlers in the 1970s and 80s. In the Pakistani video which is going viral on the Internet, Sarfaraz also claimed that he is not the only witness to this. He also said that if his claim is false, Imran can take him to court.
Sarfaraz said that when Imran’s performance was not at its peak during the 1987 Pakistan and England series, Imran came to his house in Islamabad and consumed drugs after food.
Imran will not be able to deny
Sarfaraz said, ‘He sniffs some, he also consumes cannabis. He has been doing this in London and even in my house. In 1987, when Pakistan and England were playing, they did not bowl well. He came to my house and was accompanied by Mohsin Khan, Abdul Qadir and Salim Malik. He drank charas after eating. ‘
