Vidya Balan requested for dinner with MP’s minister, I came for ‘Lioness’ shoot?

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan started shooting for her upcoming film ‘Lioness’ in October 2020 in Madhya Pradesh. Amit Masurkar directed headlines after arresting an actor Vijay Raj for molesting a female crew member on the sets of the film. Now, several reports have suggested that the shooting of the film was stopped after Vidya Balan refused to have dinner with state foreign minister Vijay Shah.

According to an entertainment portal report, the crew vehicles were not allowed to enter the forest after Vidya reportedly turned down the dinner invitation.

A source told Spotboye, “I don’t know exactly what happened. But a minister’s request for lunch was discussed and when the request was turned down, the crew’s vehicles entered the forest the next day Declined to do. ” .

Vijay Shah has denied all reports that the shooting was stopped. He said that the film team had requested him for lunch or dinner but it was not possible. He clarified that the lunch or dinner plans were canceled and the shooting was not halted.

“I came there (Balaghat) at the request of the people who had taken permission for the shooting and requested me for lunch or dinner. I said that now I will not go to Maharashtra, I will meet them. Lunch or dinner canceled Gaya, the shoot was canceled. No, ”Vijay told ANI.

Talking about Vidya Balan, the Ty Dirty Picture actress was last seen in Ala Shakuntala Devi. He played the titular role in the biographical comedy-drama, which aired live on Amazon Prime Video on July 31. It was originally slated to hit the silver screen in May 2020; However, the film could not be released as the cinema halls were closed due to COVID-19 crisis.

Vidya will be producing and starring former Indian Prime Minister Minsiter Indira Gandhi in a pre-titled web series. His film ‘Lioness’ is directed by Amit Masurkar, who starred in Rajkummar Rao starrer film ‘Newton’.
