Jharkhand captain Ishaan Kishan has played a strong innings in Vijay Hazare Trophy. Left-handed wicket-keeper batsman Kishan scored 173 runs off 94 balls with the help of 11 sixes and 19 fours.
He played this innings against Madhya Pradesh at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Saturday. On the basis of his innings, Jharkhand scored 314 runs in 40 overs.
Kishan was instrumental in the Mumbai Indians’ title win last year. He hit the maximum 29 sixes in the 2020 season. Which was three more than Sanju Samson. Ishaan’s innings was also praised by Mumbai Indians.
In IPL 2020, he scored 516 runs at an average of 145.76. Ishaan has attracted the attention of selectors for the T20 and ODI series against England. The limited-overs series against the English team will begin on March 12. In addition, T20 World contenders may also have Ishaan contenders.
