Virat Praises Wife Anushka: Because of wife Anushka, Virat Kohli is doing this commendable work, said – I am inspired by him

The Virat Kohli Foundation has inaugurated a Trauma and Rehab Center for Stray Animals in Mud, Malad. Earlier this year, India captain Kohli had said that he is setting up two animal care centers in Mumbai. Kohli credited his wife Anushka Sharma for seeing the hardships faced by stray animals in the city. Actress Anushka has on several occasions lent her support towards the welfare of animals and their rights.

Inspired by Anushka’s passion for animals, Kohli is exploring opportunities to help stray animals through his foundation. In a statement, Kohli said, “I admire Anushka’s dedication towards animal welfare and I have taken inspiration from her. It is our dream to make our city a safe place for the stray animals. We are happy to announce that the center is ready and look forward to bring about a change through this noble initiative.

The center will treat injured stray animals and a team of ten specialists will be in charge of conducting the operation in collaboration with Vivaldis Animal Health and Voice of Stray Animals.
