According to a screenshot shared by Wabetainfo, a new icon for voice and video calls has been seen in the beta update of WhatsApp Web. This shows that a new window will open every time a call is made or made on the WhatsApp web.

Wabetainfo told that WhatsApp is testing the voice and video call feature on its web app. According to the report by Wabetainfo, ‘We have already announced that WhatsApp is working on Calls. Today we are happy to announce new information about this. With the WhatsApp Web 2.2043.7 update, WhatsApp can release voice and video call features in a few weeks. This feature is currently in beta-stage. Please tell that users will not need any password to join the call.

However, WhatsApp has not officially provided any information regarding this. But after coming to the beta app, the Calls feature is expected to be released to the general users soon.

WhatsApp has recently released its most-awaited WhatsApp Payments feature. WhatsApp has partnered with National Payments Corportation Of India (NPCI) for this and has enabled transactions with more than 160 banks through a real-time payment system using Unified Payment Interface (UPI). WhatsApp has partnered with ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, State Bank of India and Jio Payments Bank. This feature is being released for Android and iOS users. Apart from this, WhatsApp has recently released many other features including custom wallpapers, WhatsApp carts, Always mute options, Disappearing messages.
