Women T20 challenge: Will there be a women’s IPL in the Corona era? BCCI official replied

New Delhi
Given the travel restrictions imposed by many countries due to the increase in Corona cases in India, it is not possible for the three teams to have the Women’s T20 Challenge which was to be held during the IPL itself. The BCCI was planning to organize a camp for Indian women cricketers.

Due to Corona crisis in India, cricketers from Australia, South Africa, England and West Indies will not be able to come here. A top BCCI source said, “There is no issue of segregation of Indian players but at this time no foreign players want to come to India. We can organize it later when the situation improves. ‘

Last year, the IPL was played in the UAE. At that time no Australian cricketer had played the Women’s T20 Challenge as it happened during the Big Bash League. Another source said, “Women’s T20 Challenge was to be held in Delhi but right now everyone is afraid to go to Delhi and they cannot be called wrong either.”
