After winning his 34th La Liga title for Real Madrid, coach Zinedine Zidan has said that he is currently the happiest person in the world. Real Madrid have beaten Villarreal 2–1 in their home and won the title for the 2019-20 season. Both goals of Madrid were scored by Karim Benzema and helped the team get the title even during the season.
According to the club's website, Zidan said after the match, “It's too big.” It is a constant battle. There are 38 matches and only in the end can you achieve something as great as today. First of all I am very grateful to the players because they are fighting on the field outside. '
He said, 'I have my own responsibility and I am with the team, but it is the team's effort. It is a huge accomplishment and is incredibly emotional. It is very difficult to win the Spanish League, very hard indeed. '
Zidan has Real Madrid's second title as coach. In his coaching, the team had earlier won this title in 2017.
Zidan, 48, said, “This is amazing.” What we have gone through is not easy. It has been a very tough La Liga season. But in the end, thanks to our faith and hard work. We were confident and the players are first in this regard as they are the ones who go out on the pitch. I am happy for them. '
The veteran footballer said, “There are people who say that happiness is not a voice, but I am the happiest person in the world inside.” Thank you very much for your support. '
